Last year in Los Angeles she testified that E Pierce Marshall defrauded her of between $556 million (£383 million) and $820 million (£565 million) that she was entitled to. At the time she wept inconsolably and clutched a tatty photograph of her late husband in a wheelchair saying he repeatedly proposed to her after they met. She said: “He wanted to make me happy.
